Star Rating: Reviewer: Alex Henvey from Wisconsin Comments: I placed an order for a 2004 Tissot T Touch Titanium Orange Rubber Strap for $455 on November 14, 2004. After hearing nothing from World of Watches for several days other than the order confirmation email, and being unable to log into the order tracking section of your website, I called customer service. I was told the item was backordered and a shipment was expected on Nov 30th. I was unhappy at not being notified of this at the time of order, but gave World of Watches the benefit of the doubt, and agreed to wait. I called on Nov. 30th to ensure the arrival of the shipment, and was told by customer service that it was still expected and could be shipped as soon as that day, or at the latest would be shipped on Dec. 1st. Late Dec 1st I called to see why I had received no shipment notification, and was told the shipment had indeed arrived and was "guaranteed" that the watch would be shipped today, December 2nd. It is currently the evening of the 2nd and the order status still shows backordered. I just got off the phone with the customer service department which now tells me that the shipment did not arrive as you previously misled me to believe, and could give me no timetable for when I would get the item. Naturally, I cancelled the order. This company knowingly attempted to sell me an item it did not have in stock, nor did they know when they would have it in stock. World of Watches lied to me about a phantom shipment multiple times solely in hopes of clinging to a fraudulent sale. World of Watches' unscrupulous business practices are shameful. Do not buy from this Outfit!!
