Comments: I like the product but the warranty stinks! The knob is not covered past HSN's 30 days.

Comments: I have purchased a set of Ultrex cookware and numerous other range top pieces and LOVE it. It heats evenly and quickly, cleans easily and doesn't damage the taste of my preparations. GREAT cookware and reasonably priced!!

Comments: I am very satisfied with Ultrex cookware. My problem is with a slow cooker that I sent back to the manufacturer in April, 2004. It broke on its own (plastic knob). I still have not received a replacement and everytime I call about it I get no satisfaction. It has been 7 months and they keep telling me it is on back order and I can never talk to a supervisor. What is going on here. No one seems to care!! I couldn't run a business that way. Art, I hope that you read this. I have purchased so many of your products, what's going on?

Comments: This cookware does not live up to its promises. The coating chips and peels and cookware does not cook evenly. I don't even own a dishwasher so it can't be that they have been cleaned improperly. I would not recommed this cookware nor will I buy it again. I have even cancelled my membership with HSN due to the fact they will not make Ultrex replace the cookware as promised.

Comments: I was excited at first and became dissatisfied with time. A chip here and there and I don't use them that much. I was informed that I would have to pay for the shipping and they must be returned in the same box that they came in. Ya! Who holds on to those boxes after a flood? Not me, so now each item is gonna cost me $$$ just to get it evaluated. Not too happy with that.

Comments: I bought 2 sets of Ultrex from HSN about 5 years ago. I wouldn't waste my money again. The food sticks in the skillets and the coating, is peeling off the rest of the set. Try making white sauces when the non-stick coating comes off in the sauce. ICK. I will try to send it back and hope for the best. But I am sure their 75 (55) year guarantee is the same as their cookware! @*#^

Comments: I purchased two sets of Ultrex cookware and utensils in November 2000. I have never had any problem with any items. If you take care in cleaning this cookware as instructed you will not have any problems. Another thing, remember when you saw the demonstration on HSN, they said to use medium heat, not high and your food would cook more evenly without high heat. I am very pleased with the Ultrex items that I purchased and I plan to buy more!!!

Comments: I bought the first set of Ultrex eight years ago. Although I really liked the pans, the one problem was white spots on the inside, although I do believe this is caused by putting the pans into a dishwasher. (I don't do this, but husband and kids do!) I also agree that you should not use the stainless tool they sent. I have all teflon tools to use in my cookware. I just purchased the 18 pc set and we will see how it goes. This time making sure no one puts pans into dishwasher. I have been as pleased with this cookware as I was the more expensive caphalon that I had.

Comments: Bought one set of Ultrex cookware from HSN about 4 years ago and around the same time was given another set as gift. At first I loved them. Now I do not! The food sticks and does not cook evenly, and some of the pans give off an odor when I use them. So I try to return them to Ultrex and they say I have to wait at least a month to get them back, and that is if they say it is covered under the warrantee. Plus I have to pay for all of the items to be shipped and insured. I am throwing them out and buying a new set elsewhere!

Comments: Please tell me why Ultrex sends stainless steel tools/utensils and then recommends you do not use them on their nonstick cookware. Wouldn't it be more beneficial to customers to offer nylon or plastic utensils? I had to go out and buy a set... and the nonstick surface still wore out and peeled off. I will not buy from Ultrex again.

Comments: I purchased an Ultrex cookware set in 2001. I cook a LOT and only bought from Ultrex because they insisted I couldn't do better for the price. The nonstick surface is worn; handles have cracked and broken off; and higher heat can't be used because the handles burn and leave a horrible smell (cooking is supposed to smell inviting!). I purchased a set of cookware from Sam's Club recently for half the price. It compares to All Clad and is marvelous!!! I will try to return the Ultrex pieces but from the other reviews probably won't get very far. What a shame.

Comments: I was pleased with my Ultrex style07608 glass lid 6 quart until I placed it in my kitchen sink and it shattered all over my kitchen. Thank God my grandchildren weren't in the kitchen. Now I am without a lid for my 6 quart pan.

Comments: Bought a grill/griddle, returned it once, and it went out again. Was told they discontinued it and I would have to find someone else to fix it. Also their warranty is poor -- it only covers items you buy from HSN, so if you find something on E-BAY or elsewhere it is not covered.

Comments: I purchased my Ultrex II cookware in 1999 and have been very pleased with each piece. Recently, though, I have noticed that one of my pots is beginning to get white spots on the bottom (inside). But it still cooks just like it did when I got them. I will be purchasing more items in the future.

Comments: I sent a cool fryer to have repaired, as it would not stay on and heat. Paid $7.80 for postage, and the original one was promptly sent back, minus the chord. All they did was clean up the one I sent and steal my chord! I have not heard a word from customer service at HSN or Innova. I will not buy any more.

Comments: The products I have are good, so I purchased the microwave/convection oven for a friend's housewarming present. The device started making a rather strange noise and we called customer service to get the item fixed. We shipped it back to Ultrex and haven't seen the item back yet. That is not good customer service. But outside of that, I have been happy with the cooking products I have at home, especially the Mega Pan with Hi-Dome Lid. It is fantastic. Wouldn't trade this piece of cookware for anything.

Comments: Ultrex products are substandard, to put it mildly. I have purchased many of the cookware pieces, and although I hand wash them, I have had problems with the non-stick sticking and peeling. My biggest complaint has been with the convection oven, however. After using the oven an average of two times per week for 6 months, the oven quit operating altogether. Customer service was no help. They said I could ship their defective product to them for repairs, however, I would be stuck with the shipping costs for the huge piece of junk. After my experiences, I will not buy another product from Ultrex.

Comments: I purhcased the Ultrex Cool Touch Deep Fryer in Oct 2002. Received a call from HSN a couple days later telling me there was a defective part but not to return it to them but to call Ultrex, who gave me the run around for 1-1/2 years. I notified Good Housekeeping, Better Business Buread, HSN and called Ultrex more times than I can remember. Would never buy another product from them!

Comments: I purchased Ultrex in 1999. Now, in 2004, food sticks to the pans. I went online to purchase new. Realized they were still under warrantee. I call warrantee svc and am told to send my cookware and it will be replaced 6-8 weeks. This warrantee is ridiculous. How am I to cook for my family w/ no pots for 2 months! Although I was originally happy w/ the product the warrantee given assures me to purchase another product and never deal w/ Ultrex again.

Comments: I purchased the Ultrex II on 2/23/04. By March the guts were dropping out of the steam vent lids into my food. I have been unable to get any response from the company one way or another. I invested by tax refund in this stuff. It will never happen again.

Comments: I love my Ultrex Cookware, but I would like to find something to clean the glossy stainless steel bottoms. I am afraid that if I scour with sos it will dull the shiny pans on the bottom. However, I love my Ultrex, the stained bottoms bother my husband more than me.

Comments: I purchased Ultrex s/s nonstick 14 pc. set for $159.85 from Home Shopping August 8, 1999. I have had problems with things sticking and peeling. I sent back 1 large frying pan and 1 small frying pan and 1 medium size kettle, before Christmas. I haven't received anything to say you received them and I haven't seen any replacements.

Comments: I have had my Ultrex cookware for 5 years now with many, many meals prepared by myself and many friends who seem to invade my home. Most of them are not experienced cooks. Little comments, "I'm going to take your pots home with me", says it all!! I left one piece of cookware on a burner without liquid for quite a while. While I would not recommend this, there was no damage other than coloration to the coating. Happy in NC with Ultrex.

Comments: I bought the Ultrex cookware set about 3-4 years ago. I have other cookware sets including Calphlon and a porcelain covered cast-iron set. I did follow the manufacturers suggested use guidelines and I am very impressed and satisfied with the set. My husband just ruined the 2 quart saucepan and I am desperate to replace it. (...or him!!!!) I think it'll be the last time he cooks using the Ultrex!! The cleanup is so easy! And the cookware cooks very evenly and is better than advertised! I love the glass lids!

Comments: Bought the Ultrex convection oven two years ago and have sent it back for replacment three times. Customer service tries to make it seem like you did something wrong. I got on HSN live and talked to Art. Don't believe it when he says he will call you, I am still waiting for that call. No more Ultrex for me or my family.

Comments: I purchased the blender/food processer/juicer about 6 months ago. Unfortunately, I waited until Christmas to use it, and found that it did not work. I can't seem to be able to contact anyone who can even tell me what to do to make it work. I have tried all suggestions in the booklet but to no avail. In addition, I bought the cookware about 2 years ago. The coating is coming off the bottoms of the pans that I use often. One cover broke and to their credit, they did replace it when I called. It disturbs me to read that other customers with similar problems are being told to mail the pots at their expense. Whatever happened to 55 year warranty?

Comments: I've used my set for almost 2 years and love it. 2 knobs came off and I called and they were replaced at no cost to me. I broke a top and called and sent in my check for a minimal amount and got a new one. The non stick coating has not come off.

Comments: [abridged] I bought the Ultrex Therma Wall Cookware. The cookware was then recalled. I returned my cookware and was told that I would receive a new set in three weeks from the time they received the old set... Well, that has been about four weeks now... I will never buy anything from ultrex again... I tell my friends about great buys but you can bet I will not tell them about this.

Comments: I purchased this product from HSN less than 2 years ago. The highly touted nonstick surface is failing. The 'steam vents' do NOT work on any of the lids. Art is a great salesman but he should rename this product Ultrash, as that IS what it is!

Comments: We purchased a set of cookware on home shopping and the 10 & 12" inch skillets' non stick bottoms did not perform to expectations according to advertisements, and when I called to request replacement I was informed I would have to mail the items at my expense to have them evaluate. I also had two of the lid knobs break. Our understanding was guaranteed satisfaction! The defective items should have been replaced without so much inconvenience for the customer.

Comments: I think the product is not good quality cookware - the bottom non-stick is flaking off on about four of my pans, and I called HSN and they told me I needed to call Ultrex, and so I called them and they told me I needed to send them in and they would decide if they were going to replace it. I thought that this Ultrex had a 55 year warranty, for whatever the reason, and they would replace it. I have only had it for two years and regret buying this Ultrex cookware. Poor investment, big mistake!

Comments: I never was a cook until my Mom bought me Ultrex. I hated cleaning pans that the food would stick on but with Ultrex it wipes right out. I would always "kill" meats but now it comes out nice and tender. My husband said he will keep me.

Comments: I would rate this fryer as excellent except for one problem. There is an "ON" light that goes OFF when the oil reaches temperature! So if left unattended one wouldn't know if it were OFF or ON if the oil is HOT. Ridiculous safety issue and if we had children I would balk. As it was I called HSN but they couldn't care less, they don't make it! HSN is unacceptable.

Comments: I dropped a lid on purpose when I first got the products so that I could show my co-workers, and busted the knob. They gave me a new one right away, but told me not to give any more demostrations my dropping.
