I just recently turned 25 years old and I feel this product may be more suitable for someone of a more mature age. The price is killer, but the product just doesn't fit the color palette for all skin types.

I really enjoy all of their products that are sent to me and some of them I wish were in larger bottles, such as some of the perfumes because they are out of this world.... I Love them.... Cosmetique will never be able to please everyone and neither will any other company.. Each individual is different as to what they like and dislike.... I do wish that the kits were not as expensive as they are, but they are of great quality so I am sure that I will continue my membership with them.....

So I sent it back and they told me that they would give me my money back. However it has been three weeks and there is no return on my card and now I cannot get hold of anyone.

Besides getting all the make-up, I got the make-up purse, the anti-aging wrinkle creme (lg bottle) and the perfume (small bottle). The colors were exactly what I specified and everything was wrapped nicely in colored tissue. The only thing I was disappointed with the company was: They sent out my first kit 21 days after I placed my order. Their web site stated the first kit would be sent out a month after the intro kit. For those that don't want to receive "monthly" kits, you can go to the web site and pick how often you would like to receive your kits. I chose to receive my beauty kits, one every 11 weeks. So that's one option for people who don't what to get the kits so often. Good luck everyone. I know not everyone has the same experience with these types of companies.
Star Rating: Reviewer: Sharon W Grgich from Utah Comments: I signed up for this club on line. My account was debited for $l.00 and then for $4.95 for the first kit. I never got anything. Then my account was debited for $24.70 for another kit which caused my account to be over drafted and caused me a $25.00 overdraft charge. I never got this kit either. When I contacted the company; I was told that I would get the first two charges returned in 7 to 14 days ( it took almost 21 days) and I would have to wait an additional 30 days for the second amount to be refunded. I am still waiting for this to happen and it has been well over 30 days. I never received one product from them, but they were all too happy to take my money. I filed a complaint with the BBB on them. I hope they respond.

But I got really frustrated when they charged my CC for $24.90 only a week after I got my introductory offer. The Costumer service is pretty good, but this company will make more business if they let the custumers choose the package in advance and all they have to do is send an e-mail.

The perfume bottles are not brand, and there is no way they sell these for $35!! I'd rather go to the mall and stick to MAC. I cancelled my membership that same day. For those than can't get in contact with the company, the toll free number is 1-800-621-8822. You have live customer service reps answer the telephones.

I have been with the company for about a year now and have gotten my sister to join (would get more to join but my friends and I don't wear that much makeup). The only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating is due to the fact that they send a lot of the same type of products too close together (i.e. eyeshadow, same shade of lipstick -- different designers). Outside of that I really have no other complaints. Their prices are comparable to department stores if you want to order the products they ship to you, and you get to try them for a fraction of the cost. Whereas with department stores you might get a little trial (of skin care products) that gives you two to three uses -- and how can you tell if the product really works well when most of them say after an extended use you will see results? So I would recommend that anyone who is searching, check out Cosmetique. I'm really sorry about those who say they have had problems, but remember, not everyone who tries Cosmetique has come here and given their opinion. Oh, you can pay per set that you order, I do. You don't have to have a credit card. Be blessed!!

I'm South Asian and find it very difficult to buy cosmetics that flatter my darker skin color. I've tried LOTS of different lines in drugstores, department stores and from independent makeup consultants, with poor results. I've ended up buying a palette just because just one or two colors looked OK on me. In the Diandra and Madeleine Mono collections I received from Cosmetique, ALL the colors in the eyeshadow palettes looked good on me. This is a first in my life! Thank you! I liked some of the other products too (except the lipsticks, which were too blue and "muddy" for me; but that's the case with pretty much all the lipsticks I buy, so I get them custom made).
Star Rating: Reviewer: Belinda from California Comments: My packages take a bit longer to reach me since I live in CA, but I LOVE what I get and I will continue with them for a long time! 5 to 6 items for $24.00 is a bargain to me, especially when it comes right to my home and I don't have to go to the store! If I get things I don't use I give them away as gifts durring the holidays! I have never had a problem with billing or having my credits returned for a shipment I sent back. Not sure where that is coming from. Thank you!!!!

Not only are the products wonderful, I can change my color selection anytime I get a shipment (it's on the back of the invoice). The only thing I think they need to improve is colors for darker skin tones, but they have been getting better with each shipment. Something eveyone should try.
